Thriving in
operational chaos —
it's where work gets done.
Specializing in logistics, procurement, supply chain, and operational risk. Stacey Redel brings 20+ years of experience solving logistical and supply chain constraints — tackling the complicated, the chaotic, and sometimes the seemingly impossible.
Making Moves.
Who you call when the answer isn't in the manual.
Working at the intersection of logistics, procurement, supply chain, operational risk, and execution — in the space where process breakdowns happen and problems don't come with labels attached.
Two decades spent in industries where a missed delivery, a contract gap, or a reporting blind spot has real consequences. Oil refineries. Fuel supply networks. Multimodal transportation corridors spanning the U.S. and Canada. E-commerce distribution. The systems, the stakes, and — more importantly — what happens when they don't work.
A B.S. in Mathematics with an Economics minor from Colorado State University provided the analytical frameworks. The career — from commodity trading at Suncor Energy to ERP logistics implementation at Innospec — provided the instincts. The combination means moving fast, thinking clearly, and translating what matters to whoever needs to hear it.

Built across the full operational stack.
From strategic sourcing to day-to-day execution — understanding how the pieces connect and what it costs when they don't.
Procurement Strategy
Vendor selection, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization across complex, high-stakes sourcing environments.
Logistics Coordination
Multimodal freight management across rail, barge, ocean, and trucking — U.S. and Canada, tight timelines, no margin for error.
Supply Chain Operations
End-to-end supply chain management with focus on resilience, continuity, and visibility — especially in high-stakes or high-volume environments.
Risk Analysis
Exposure tracking, position reporting, risk identification, and systems that give decision-makers clear visibility before problems escalate.
Inventory & Reporting Systems
Building inventory tracking, operational reporting, and data workflows that surface what matters — without drowning people in dashboards.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Managing vendors, executives, customers, and internal teams with clarity — keeping everyone aligned without letting noise derail the work.
Fuel, Refinery & Energy Operations
Logistics, supply coordination, and operational support for refinery environments — fuel supply agreements, position reporting, and high-volume throughput.
Distribution & E-Commerce Logistics
Operational coordination across distribution networks and e-commerce fulfillment, where speed, accuracy, and vendor relationships determine performance.
The work speaks for itself.
Not case studies — tangible examples of what it looks like when complicated operational problems actually get solved.
Supply & Logistics Crisis Response — Suncor Energy
Determined supply and logistics solutions during critical operational disruptions at Suncor's Commerce City Refinery, resulting in $42M in savings to the organization. Managing 100,000 barrels per day of crude supply means every disruption has a cost — and a solution. Also captured $15.5M in revenue during the post-COVID refinery startup by moving fast when the window opened.
Pipeline Ratability Project
Served as Project Manager on a major pipeline project to establish supply ratability, driving $3M in annual returns — coordinating across producers, logistics teams, and refinery operations from start to finish.
Gasoline
Multi-Fuel Supply — Denver Market
Secured jet fuel supply to Denver International Airport, gasoline to the Denver market, and diesel to railroads — multiple fuel types, multiple supply chains, executed simultaneously across the Rockies region.
Logistics Cost Recovery — Innospec
Uncovered $50K/month in systemic overcharges and renegotiated international broker agreements at Innospec Fuel Specialties — delivering $100K in documented savings while managing 150 railcars and thousands of truck movements across domestic and international routes.
Trade Floor Operations
Traded commodities and created real-time position reports for the trade floor at Suncor, giving traders immediate visibility into active positions to make fast, informed trading decisions.
Problem solver. Executes efficiently and effectively.
"Who you call when the process is unclear, the stakes are high, and the answer isn't sitting in a manual."
Most organizations have people who perform well inside a working process. Fewer have people who can build the process when it doesn't exist yet — or repair it quietly when it breaks. That's the second category.
Figures It Out
Comfortable operating without a clear roadmap. Assess what's known, identify what isn't, and build toward a solution without requiring hand-holding.
Builds Structure from Ambiguity
Translates chaotic operational environments into clear systems, processes, and reporting — without overcomplicated solutions.
Communicates Across Teams
Speaks the language of traders, operational teams, executives, vendors, and frontline stakeholders — knowing which version of the story each audience needs to hear.
Protects the Operation
Focused on continuity, not just efficiency. Keeps the operation running and the business protected when conditions shift.
Moves Fast Without Being Reckless
Knowing which decisions take priority and create value, which then needs immediate action — a distinction that matters enormously in operational environments.
Identifies Operational Risk
Identifies operational risk to protect the company and its integrity — drawing on deep experience across oil & gas and high-volume logistics environments.
Engagement that fits the problem.
Not every organization needs a full-time hire. There are some that require someone who can step in, understand the situation quickly, and build something that lasts — then hand it off cleanly.
Selectively available for consulting and advisory engagements where operational complexity requires senior-level thinking without guidance.
What colleagues say.
Stacey's ability to step into complicated operational problems, understand the moving pieces quickly, and create a path forward is unmatched. She understands the operations such that she doesn't need the full picture before she starts moving — she is capable of creating operational excellence.
What set Stacey apart was her ability to coordinate across teams without losing anything in translation. Vendors, executives, operations — she knew how to communicate with each group and kept everything moving in the same direction.
She built reporting infrastructure that our trade floor actually used — which is harder than it sounds. She understood both the operational reality, the information needed, and the importance of what needed to be said to then make competent decisions under pressure.
Open to the right opportunities.
Available for senior operations, logistics, procurement, and supply chain roles, as well as consulting roles that include brand management, sales, and business relationships where the problem actually warrants the experience.
